The Hassan II Mosque is consistently rated the number one attraction in Casablanca. • La Bodega is the place to party for hip Moroccans. Fuel up on tapas before dancing to Arabic beats, reggae, rock and universal disco. On Tuesdays the bar dances to the tune of Brazilian samba with flamboyant dance instructor Didier.
• The Casablanca Festival of Video Art, held at the Universite Hassan II Mohammedia, explores the latest in video and multi-media installations. It also promotes the exchange of ideas by holding workshops and conferences for artists and anyone interested in the subject.
• Entirely funded by Morocco’s King Mohammed VI, the Grand Prix Hassan II in Casablanca is one of the two ATP World Tour stops in Africa. Driven by the 450,000 prize money, the tennis action unfolds at the Complexe Al Amal.
